Interior & Exterior Painting.
Most of our work is straightforward residential painting and decorating, and that is really the bread and butter of what we do. We cover a wide range of interior and exterior decorating work, including bedrooms, lounges, kitchens, hallways and staircases, as well as the day-to-day preparation and finishing that goes with it.
A lot of our work involves painting ceilings, walls, woodwork, skirting boards, window sills, radiators, doors and door frames, with the care and preparation needed to get a clean, lasting finish. We are used to working in lived-in homes, from single rooms and feature walls through to full interior redecoration.
Outside, we also take care of masonry, metalwork and timber, including proper preparation and repairs before painting.
In addition to residential work, we are happy to take on suitable commercial decorating projects such as offices, schools, houses of worship and other community buildings.
Specialist Services:
Coving.
Installation of lightweight coving such as Supercove, along with repairs to traditional cornice where practical. Once painted, lightweight coving is indistinguishable from traditional plaster coving, but without the drawbacks: it goes up with far less mess and disruption, and its much lighter weight avoids putting the added strain on walls and ceilings which often causes cracks. We fit it to a high standard with clean lines and neat corners.
Resin Timber Repairs.
For decayed or damaged timber, we use modern epoxy resin repair systems for in-situ repairs. These products are designed to move with the wood rather than crack or shrink like traditional fillers, and they are widely used on historic and heritage buildings for long-term repairs.
When the preparation is done properly and the repair is kept painted and maintained, these resin repairs are intended to last for many years, typically decades rather than just a few seasons. That means in many cases we can repair the timber in situ, avoiding the disruption and cost of taking windows out and sending them away, while still giving you a long term, secure result.
Mould Removal and Treatment.
For persistent mold, we use the Pura+ mould elimination system, a non toxic, bleach free treatment that goes further than a surface clean. The formula breaks down heavy mould growth and loosens effected areas ready to be safely removed, killing 99.9999% of lingering bacteria and fungi. Once treated, the surface carries an invisible, positively charged anti microbial barrier that remains in place permanently, helping to repel new mould growth rather than simply masking it.
This service is particularly suited to landlords and homeowners looking for a proven, non – corrosive, non – VOC treatment that’s safe to use in occupied properties.
